Join our dynamic and innovative team, where you can thrive as an Area Sales Manager. Located in Grimbergen, Belgium, you'll be at the forefront of cutting-edge induction bending technology used in pipeline construction.

With a global customer base, you'll enjoy a fast-paced environment, challenging projects, and the opportunity to ensure market development activities within a defined geographical area. Your role will be crucial in strengthening our company's position in the market as you exceed sales objectives while staying within budgets and aligning with department objectives.                                       

You ensure the acquisition and follow-up of industrial customers within a specific area, according to the department’s commercial strategy, in order to maximize sales revenues as well as profit margin.


In this role:

  • business development & promotion:
    • you ensure market development, prospection and promotional activities within identified area
    • sector: oil & gas, refineries and petrochemical, nuclear, offshore wind ...
  • market intelligence:
    • you analyze and monitor the market/competition landscape
    • you stay alert to potential opportunities and share with colleagues/ internal stakeholders
  • account management:
    • you manage key accounts within portfolio (identify current and potential needs, solve issues, promote products, assist on contracts)          
  • sales process:
    • together with the price estimator you prepare and review technical and commercial offers for your clients, negotiate and follow-up on them
    • you work in close contact with planning, quality and production department
  • sales action planning & follow-up:
    • together with the Sales Manager, you translate the strategic objectives into action plans in order to reach the sales targets
    • you plan, implement and follow-up on commercial activities                      

Are you our Area Sales Manager?

  • you have a technical or economic bachelor's degree
  • you have at least five years' experience in project sales
  • specific knowledge of the oil & gas industry is considered a plus
  • you are analytical, cope well with stress and can work to strict deadlines
  • you are a team player and passionate about sales
  • you are driven and enthusiastic
  • you are prepared to travel frequently (approx. 1 week per month)
  • you speak Dutch, French and English, and are a good communicator and negotiator
