This job will take you to our headquarters in Brussels and our offices in Evere and Nivelles, as well as to our clients' sites.
Are you the enthusiastic professional we are looking for to manage our collective energy projects related to heat/cold as a service, heat/cold networks, co-generation, electrical flexibility valuation, etc., from start to finish?

- prospecting and managing leads: you identify and assess project opportunities and collaborate with various teams to create technically suitable and innovative solutions
- preparing financial models and offers: you conduct analyses, prepare commercial offers, and lead negotiations for significant project contracts in collaboration with different departments (Legal, Operational). You ensure that volume and price risks are kept to a minimum
- building relationships: you develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing persuasive proposals. Since this involves long-term contracts for public tenders and the private market, you are keen to invest your time and knowledge in building these contacts
- leading projects: you are the owner of projects, regularly reporting on progress (BD & budgetary activities) and ensuring that guidelines and returns are met. When problems arise, you provide necessary solutions, thanks to a high level of business insight and a solution-oriented mindset
- developing innovative business models: you work with internal teams and external partners to implement and standardize new solutions, also considering business continuity and the implementation of the BU strategy
- challenging technical designs: in close collaboration with realization teams, bidding teams, engineering offices, and consultants, you optimize project initiatives
- contributing to a positive team dynamic: you build strong partnerships with operational managers and ensure a shared focus on achieving P&L objectives

What do you need to be successful in this role?
- you have a degree in civil, industrial, or commercial engineering or a master's in an economics-related field and possess a good technical understanding
- you have at least three years of experience in business development, sales, and commercial developments
- analytical and organizational skills that enable you to manage complex projects, understand risks, and solve problems
- knowledge and experience in technical design, project management (planning, process management, etc.), coordinating various stakeholders, and closing transactions is a strong plus.
- you understand financial concepts
- you are adept at building and maintaining relationships with (potential) clients
- you are independent, flexible, and can work in a multicultural/multilingual environment
- you are a native speaker of French or Dutch with a good knowledge of the second national language and English
