At Equans Belux, we are committed to driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. For our offices in Brussels we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Process & Lean Manager to join our dynamic team and lead our LEAN transformation efforts.
As Process & Lean Manager, you are responsible for implementing our LEAN strategy across the organization. You lead initiatives in LEAN Construction, LEAN Manufacturing, and LEAN Facility Management, facilitating process analysis and reengineering that enhance productivity and efficiency. In this role, you also coach and develop the Operational Excellence (Opex) team and other operational staff to ensure sustainability and continuous improvement.
Zoom on your key responsibilities:
- LEAN Transformation:
- develop and implement LEAN strategies and concepts
- lead the LEAN transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
- LEAN Construction & Manufacturing & Facility Management:
- oversee and increase the implementation of the Last Planner System with all its tools to support planning, on site coordination and problem solving
- drive visual management systems, stand-up meetings, and smart production skills in manufacturing and facility management environments, including shop floors, warehouses and client sites
- process design & analysis:
- facilitate process design and analysis sessions for reengineering initiatives
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, develop actionable plans and drive change
- coaching & development:
- mentor and coach team members within the Opex and Operations teams to enhance their skills in LEAN methodologies
- foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization
What do you need to be successful in this function?
- master’s degree in business administration, or a related field
- proven experience in leading LEAN transformation initiatives within manufacturing, construction, or facility management environments
- strong knowledge of LEAN tools and methodologies, Visual Management, KAIZEN/A3 approach, Gemba, 5S,… and process management
- knowledge of Last Planner System is an absolute plus
- excellent coaching, facilitation, and team development skills
- strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders
- professional knowledge of the Dutch language is required. Additionally, a good command of English and French is also necessary
