Equans in Wetteren is looking for a MEP Planning & Method Engineer.

In this role you support our Tender, Calculation, and Commercial department regarding planning & methods and research into MEP techniques and materials

Details of the job:

• create, maintain, and manage comprehensive project plans and schedules in MS-projects, Primavera,...
• support the Tender team with specific questions regarding execution methods
• work closely with project managers to develop an accurate project plan and to implement the project objectives and strategies
• perform risk management to minimize project risks
• monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion
• prepare and present reports detailing the project plan and progress
• consult with clients, engineers, and project managers to ensure that project goals are met
• support the project team with detailed, daily information about project schedules and budget
• perform resource allocation and scheduling
• coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of necessary materials
• ensure an efficient handover to our execution teams

What do you need?

• you have a degree in industrial engineering (civil works, electromechanics or equivalent), which provides you with sufficient construction technical knowledge
• alternatively, you have equivalent experience - you have gained at least some initial experience within general contracting in the building sector. Preferably in a role as Site MEP Manager/Project Manager, giving you enough execution knowledge
• no matter how complex the tasks are, you always organize them efficiently and work in a structured and accurate manner
• you have a strong sense of responsibility
• you work proactively and are driven to find the best solution for a problem
• your enthusiasm is contagious and motivating
• you convince your colleagues of the optimal planning/execution strategy
• you are critical in gathering the correct information
• you have a good knowledge of Dutch, French and English
