Job Description

Context and objectives of the mission

Equans' Group IT Department is organized around Shared Service Lines that deliver global services to all the group's entities.

The Group Applications Shared Service Line (called SLS Group Apps) of the Equans Group IT provides common IT solutions and services required to support EQUANS’ businesses through 3 main missions :

  • Delivering IT projects and services in their scope in accordance with the schedule, quality and cost targets agreed with Business customers
  • Operating the global applications and solutions that support EQUANS’ Businesses in the most competitive way
  • Industrializing IT solutions and reducing the complexity of the enterprise architecture and application portfolio

The SLS Group Apps is organized into functional areas: Finance/Legal, HR, Procurement, etc… As a Salesforce Product Owner at Equans, you will be at the forefront of our digital transformation initiatives, driving the development and optimization of our Salesforce platform. You will lead the creation and enhancement of Field Service and Quotation tools, tailored to support business development across key countries. Project requests can be initiated by a business entity or another SLS.

 

Missions :

Responsabilities of the Product Owner are :

 

Strategic Business Alignment: Collaborate with business stakeholders to deeply understand their needs and translate them into innovative, scalable Salesforce solutions that drive the operational excellence

Multinational Project Leadership: Oversee cross-country projects, ensuring consistent delivery while adapting to local business requirements and cultural nuances.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with sales, marketing, operational and IT teams to gather requirements and prioritize features.

Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, focusing on delivering the most valuable features and enhancements.

User Stories Development: Develop clear user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development team.

Sprint Planning and Review: Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings to ensure the development team delivers high-quality work.

End-User Engagement: Engage with end-users to gather feedback, provide training, and ensure they can effectively use Salesforce.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to enhance its effectiveness.

 

To do this, he/she works in collaboration with the group's architects and cybersecurity experts.

 

Technical and functional skills:

 

Strong Expertise of the Salesforce Platform, especially Sales Cloud, CPQ and FSL

Knowledge of business processes

Knowledge of middleware capabilities

General knowledge of other IT domains: workstation, identity management (AD, AAD, SSO, MFA), Messaging and collaboration (O365) and Cybersecurity

Able to navigate Agile environment (Scrum or similar)

Ability to work in collaboration with an offshore outsourcer who will be the run operator and responsible for delivery

Fluent in written and spoken English (most of the work is carried out in English, meetings are in English, the outsourcer speaks English).

Good knowledge in german or French would be a plus

Good writing skills (in English) for documents such as solution framing, reporting and synthesis (for example to produce decision support documents) Behavioral skills

Good communicator

Ability to work in a team upfront and remotely

Sense of service and quality

Ability to interact with persons at many levels (leader, manager, engineer, architects, administrator, operator)

Agile and adaptability

 

He/She has to consider travels all over our different Equans subsidiaries.
