At Equans Belux, we’re launching a brand-new Internal Audit function—and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to build it from the ground up. You will audit a wide range of business topics and, drawing on extensive experience in data analytics, increase the depth and efficiency of our audits through data-driven insights. As Internal Audit Manager, you will conduct independent and objective evaluations of the company’s compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies, while also assessing risk management and internal control processes.
In your role as Internal Audit Manager, you will also be responsible for fraud investigations, spending approximately half of your time leading and executing fraud-related work — including special investigations into corporate crime and the design and implementation of fraud prevention measures.

Zoom on the job:
- set up the internal audit function, including processes and templates
- manage the Internal Audit function under the leadership of the Chief Corporate Officer
- define and implement the annual Internal Audit plan
- lead and conduct internal audits across the Equans Belux perimeter.
- present audit results to management and recommend improvements in efficiency, control, and compliance supported by data-driven insights.
- lead and supervise fraud investigations as part of the internal audit remit; ensure thorough follow-up and remediation of fraud cases.
- conduct dedicated fraud risk assessments and maintain fraud indicators to proactively identify potential irregularities
- collaborate with all levels of Equans Belux management to strengthen internal controls and governance report consolidated audit results to the Executive Committee
Are we a match?
- university degree in applied economics, engineering, criminology or equivalent
- minimum of 8 years of professional experience
- solid background in audit and forensic audit
- strong knowledge of SAP and proven expertise in data analysis
- general business understanding of project-based environments
- comfortable with IT tools and administrative processes
- high integrity and independence mindset
- dynamic, flexible and eager to explore diverse topics
- team player with a results-driven approach
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong analytical thinking with the ability to synthesize complex information
- willing to invest in new business domains
- fluent in Dutch and French, with a good command of English
